FITCOTUBE® FT500

FITCOTUBE® FT500 from GREMCO is a thin-walled polyolefin heat shrink tubing suitable for a variety of applications in various industries. Polyolefins, including polyethylene (PE), are hydrocarbons with low density, good chemical resistance, low water absorption, and excellent electrical insulation properties. The shrink tubing is available in all standard colors and exhibits outstanding electrical properties and high heat resistance.

Characteristics of FT500 heat shrink tubing

FITCOTUBE® FT500 is a thin-walled polyolefin heat shrink tubing. Like all GREMCO’s thin-walled polyolefin shrink tubing, FT500 combines the typical flexibility, cost efficiency, and self-extinguishing flame properties of polyolefins. The temperature resistance of the shrink tubing ranges from -55 °C to +125 °C. Additionally, FT500 is flame-retardant and, in colored versions, offers excellent resistance to UV radiation, chemicals, and moisture. Its excellent electrical insulation performance makes it suitable for various applications requiring insulation and/or protection from moisture, adhesive coating, and other environmental factors.

FITCOTUBE® FT500 is available in different sizes and can be cut to the desired length. It has a shrink ratio of 2:1 and can be shrunk using a heat gun, hot air blower, or professional heat shrink oven or tunnel.
