Ranging from watertight insulation of connectors to corrosion protection for various metal pipes and conduits, these tubes provide a variety of solutions for different industries. Various types of GREMCO tubes are available with a wide range of properties, including temperature resistance, chemical resistance, abrasion resistance, and flexibility. These properties vary depending on the material and application. Therefore, our tubing is ideally suited for <strong>industrial applications<\/strong>. Due to the extreme conditions in the engine compartment, tubing systems require high levels of temperature resistance, fire resistance, chemical resistance, flexibility, and abrasion resistance. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gremco.de\/pdf\/datenblaetter\/GREMCO_GmbH_datasheet_GC_DBE_FITCOTUBE-FT200_EN.pdf\">FITCOTUBE\u00ae FT200<\/a> shrink tubing made from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gremco.de\/en\/fitcotube-shrinktube\/elastomers\/\">cross-linked elastomers<\/a> is an ideal example of the aforementioned area of application. This highly flexible, abrasion-resistant heat-shrink tubing with excellent fuel resistance is ideally suited to the conditions in the engine compartment thanks to its certified flame retardancy and temperature resistance of up to 150\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Wire and component protection:<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Cable and component protection<\/strong> is one of the most common applications for advanced shrink tubing, particularly in the industrial sector. This requires both mechanical and chemical resistance to ensure adequate protection of the components. Thanks to its abrasion resistance and excellent chemical resistance, GREMCO&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gremco.de\/pdf\/datenblaetter\/GREMCO_GmbH_datasheet_GC_DBE_FITCOTUBE-FT175_EN.pdf\">FITCOTUBE\u00ae FT175<\/a> and FITCOTUBE\u00ae FT190 heat-shrink tubing made from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gremco.de\/en\/fitcotube-shrinktube\/fluoropolymers-ptfe-fep-pvdf-kynar\/\">cross-linked PVDF<\/a> are ideal options for protecting sensors and similar components. In addition, the tubing guarantees temperature resistance up to 175\u00b0C and 190\u00b0C respectively, certified flame resistance, and a semi-rigid nature. If more flexibility is required, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gremco.de\/pdf\/datenblaetter\/GREMCO_GmbH_datasheet_GC_DBE_FITCOTUBE-FT275_EN.pdf\">FITCOTUBE\u00ae FT275<\/a> shrink tubing is the ideal alternative. Although it has the same basic properties as FT175, it is more flexible and has a lower shrink temperature.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Mechanical strain and bending relief for cables and wires:<\/h2>\n<p>The mechanical s<strong>train and bend relief <\/strong>of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gremco.de\/en\/wire-and-cable-products\/\">cables and wires<\/a> is also primarily an industrial application. Excellent flexibility of advanced shrink tubing is required for this area of application.\u00a0 Furthermore, good abrasion resistance and general resistance to external influences are advantageous.
