In both cases, the PTFE products serve as a protective inner layer of the welding spool, which in turn functions to guide the welding material inside the tube to the head of the welding tip. PTFE is ideal for this application due to its high-temperature resistance of up to 250\u00b0C combined with its chemical inertness and stability.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Optimized versions for welding equipment and welding robots<\/h2>\n<p>In particular, glass-filled PTFE Liners should be mentioned as optimal variants which, in addition to improved stability, exhibit optimized thermal properties.
